Apertures School of Photography
Apertures' first classes were held 16 years ago teaching alternative photography processes. We held workshops in “Platinum & Palladium Printing”, all 3 Polaroid Transfer processes, and Hand Tinting Black & White Photographs. These were all 1 or 2 day workshops that were very informative and fun. After moving into our current location 14 years ago, we held full weekends of workshops where students traveled from class to class every 2 hours learning something new. We taught “Potassium Ferricynide Bleaching”, Cross Processing, Pin-Hole Photography, and 4x5 Photography, to name a few.
Eight years ago we saw a need to start teaching Digital Photography. We found there to be many hobbyists who purchased Digital cameras that knew very little about photography. Along with our Film Photography classes, we added Digital. Today, we are proud to be offering numerous classes, including digital and film photography classes, applied photography classes, and computer classes. All classes are taught by professional photographers who are experts in the subject areas.
Due to class popularity and limited availability, there is a $10.00 non-refundable enrollment fee to reserve your sport for each class.
